The book was written by authors with rich experience in the injection plastic of facial defects. It provides modern foundations of person’s anatomy, including the authors" own data, who managed to combine disparate materials available in the literature according to the anatomical aspects of the injection correction of facial defects. The publication is distinguished by the novelty of the material and its depth. The authors are adherents of the modern concept of facial aging, according to which age-related changes are due not only to the sagging of the skin and ligaments of the face, but also by the insufficiency of tissue volume due to their atrophy. The book has four chapters, three of which are devoted to the areas traditionally distinguished on the face: Upper (4th Chapter), Middle (1st Chapter) and Lower (3rd Chapter) New data is given on the anatomy of the facial spaces of the face and the fatty fiber spaces included in them. In the 2nd chapter, the anatomy of the lymphatic system of the eyelids and the middle department of the face is stated, the knowledge of which is important not only for the doctor who performs the injection of fillers, but also the surgeon transplanting adipose tissue or performs blepharoplasty. This chapter also shows the distribution of lymphatic vessels according to the anatomical layers of facial tissues, the main lymph collectors are identified, the role of damage them in postoperative chemosis and the dependence of this complication on the method of blepharoplasty are emphasized. There are many drawings in the book, they are available on almost every page and demonstrate all anatomical formations (vessels, muscles, ligaments and fat spaces), and an explanation is also additionally given in the form of photographs taken from anatomical drugs. The book will be interesting for plastic surgeons, specialists in aesthetic medicine, anatomists, as well as everyone who is interested in new achievements and capabilities of aesthetic medicine, they will find in it new views on the anatomy of the faces and approaches to the correction of its involutionary defects
