The book discusses the epigenetic effects from many points of view. Separate chapters are devoted to the main molecular mechanisms that carry out epigenetic regulation in ontogenesis and processes based on this type of regulation. The book discusses the main epigenetic mechanisms, including DNA methylation, modification of chromatin proteins, non -dodging RNA, the organization of high -order chromatin, including heterochromatin and euhromatin, and the spatial organization of the cell nucleus. The role of epigenetic mechanisms in the development, aging and etiology of a number of common human pathologies was discussed.
