The textbook presents a modern presentation of epidemiology as a science that studies the patterns of the emergence and spread of any pathological conditions among people and developing measures to combat diseases.
Particular attention is paid to the population epidemiological methods used to identify the causes of the occurrence and spread of infectious and non -infectious diseases. For the first time, a detailed description of the epidemiological supervision system for all groups of diseases is given.
