Modern ideas about medical science “Epidemiology” are given, which studies the basic patterns of the emergence and spread of infectious and non -infectious pathology, and develops measures of struggle and prevention. The material presents data on the epidemic process and epidemiological supervision, measures to combat infections in society, special attention is paid to the immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases and the organization of vaccination.
