In the new work of Professor O.A. Gomazkova, a well-known pathophysiologist and biochemist, summarized modern information about coronavirus (Covid-19 pathology) from the standpoint of a new vision. Previous scientific experience O.A. Gomazkova, the author of work on functional biochemistry (ACE kinins, angiotensin, neurotrophic factors, etc), made it possible to distinguish the links of the regulation of the blood and blood vessels. As a consequence of the aggressive effects of coronavirus, the endothelium of blood vessels, a kind of “endocrine tree” of lungs and other organs, where important cytochemical processes are concentrated, are considered as a target. For the first time, the concept of Storm-2 is proposed, when the lesion of the organs is considered as a result of thrombogenesis caused by coronavirus in the vessels. The role of ASE2 - the main “receptor” of a viral attack is reviewed here taking into account the biochemical system of angiotensin and kinin polypeptides, the main regulators of the state of blood and blood vessels. Such an almost detective representation serves as the basis for clarifying the strategy of the pharmacological correction of the Covid-19.
