The diagnosis and treatment of most urological diseases of both lower and upper urinary tract cannot be represented without urethrocystoscopy - the routine method in urological practice for many years.
The modern possibilities of visualization of the image are not limited to the improvement of only optical systems and designs of endoscopes. A photodynamic cystoscopy using photodymesisisis and the new optical technology - narrow -pointed urethrocystoscopy - largely increased the possibilities in the diagnosis of various pathological processes in the urethra and the bladder.
This atlas reflects the primary experience accumulated by the author (more than 500 patients) of a very promising high -tech diagnostic method - a flexible video resistrocystoscopy in combination with a narrow spectacular diagnosis. The relevance of this publication is due to the fact that in Russian specialized literature there are very few materials about flexible fibrocystoscopy and there is no modern atlas for urethrocystoscopy. Standard images in the "white light" are supplemented by a narrow -spectative image of the same objects. Despite the fact that most endoscopic diagnoses in the atlas are supported by morphological studies, the authors encountered difficulties in their designation - a number of endoscopic manifestations of inflammatory diseases of the bladder are indicated by different authors in different ways. In the Atlas, they tried to take into account these differences.
