The textbook “Extraordinary Medicine” was prepared on the basis of documents regulating the activities of the functional subsystems of ministries, agencies and services in a unified state system for preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergency situations of a natural and technogenic nature and in the civil defense system of the Russian Federation. It sets out tasks, organizational and staff structure, the functioning of organizations and formations intended (oriented) to prevent and eliminate the health consequences of natural and technogenic emergency situations.
The presented sections of the textbook are designed to train medical specialists in the system of higher, including higher medical education - training of higher qualifications, additional (including continuous) medical professional education, as well as in the system of secondary medical education.
Textbook materials can be used in the practical activities of healthcare bodies at various levels, bodies of military medical administration and specialized specialists on the organization of medical support of troops (forces) and the population during the liquidation of the medical and sanitary consequences of emergency situations
