The directory describes skin diseases that occur with acute symptoms and serious complications. When selecting states for inclusion in this book, two main criteria were used: a sudden beginning and rapid progression, as well as severe local or systemic complications. The presented diseases cover all common inflammatory and infectious dermatoses, as well as a number of more rare conditions. In addition, sections on tumors, diseases of the connective tissue, dermatosis of travelers, and medicinal rash are included. A rash caused by environmental influence and physical factors is also described.
In the book, diseases in adults are considered. Acute dermatoses in children are a separate clinical section and often contrast sharply with appropriate diseases in adults.
