In this manual devoted to the intensive therapy of emergency and critical conditions in immunocompromising patients, the world experience of leading specialists working with childhood patients with cancer, hematological and immunological diseases is presented. The book discusses the most relevant aspects of resuscitation in this group of patients: assessment of the severity of the patient’s condition, the criteria for the transfer of resuscitation, therapy of respiratory, cardiovascular, renal failure, neurological disorders, septic and other infectious complications that naturally develop during intensive chemotherapy and transplantation hematopoietic stem cells.
