The leadership summarizes the many years of experience of the authors of studying the early forms of vascular brain diseases that are widespread among the population, the adequate therapy of which can improve the quality of life of patients and prevent stroke.
It is considered not only the main causes of vascular diseases (arterial hypertension, atherosclerosis), but also, for the first time in world literature, less commonly encountered - vasculitis, collagenoses, antiphospholipid syndrome, etc.
At the modern level, etiology, pathogenesis, pathomorphology, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of early forms of vascular diseases of the brain are presented. Much attention is paid to the risk factors for this pathology. Disorders of the function of the pelvic organs in patients are described in detail.
