The monograph is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of drug-induced diseases and consists of 12 sections. The fourth section "drug-induced diseases in gastroenterology", presented in this volume, contains information about the drug-induced lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas and liver.
Each chapter provides data on epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention of an appropriate drug-induced disease or syndrome. Each chapter is illustrated by a table or tables in which drugs are summed up, the intake of which is associated with the development of a certain drug-induced disease, the frequency and pathophysiological mechanisms of its development against the background of taking individual drugs and evidence levels.
