The monograph is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of drug-induced diseases and consists of 12 sections. The second section “Medicine-induced diseases in cardiology”, presented in this volume, contains information about drug-induced arterial hypertension, orthostatic hypotension, heart failure, rhythm and conductivity disorders. The third section “Medicated-induced diseases in hematology”, also represented in this volume, examines drug-induced anemia, neutropenia and agraulositosis, eosinophilia, thrombocytopenia. Each chapter provides data on epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the corresponding drug-induced disease. Each chapter is illustrated by a table in which drugs are summarized, the intake of which is associated with the development of a certain drug-induced disease, the frequency and pathophysiological mechanisms of its development against the background of taking individual drugs and the levels of evidence. In the following sections of the monographs, drug-induced diseases in gastroenterology, pulmonology, nephrology, endocrinology, neurology, psychiatry, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology will also be examined in detail.
