Dizziness. Otoneurological aspects

The monograph summarizes the author’s personal experience and literary data on the clinic, diagnosis and treatment of dizziness. In connection with the wide implementation of ultrasound and neuroimaging examination methods, clinical manifestations and instrumental diagnosis of vestibular peripheral and central levels are presented. The data of an expanded otoneurological examination, including electronistagmography, caused potentials, parameters of blood pressure and central hemodynamics, are selected clinical observations. The monograph is the first in Russia and one of the few works in the world devoted to the problem of dizziness in patients with vascular pathology of the brain.
