The ideas about dizziness in the last two decades have changed significantly, which is associated with the release of new diseases, which amenable to therapy, such as migraine dizziness, options for benign paroxysmal positional dizziness, dizziness in mental disorders.
This book is addressed to doctors who are found in their practice with patients with dizziness and who need to quickly obtain information about its differential diagnosis and treatment. It describes the anatomy and physiology of the vestibular system, as well as the clinical picture of dizziness. Modern information is set out on the most common types of dizziness - positional or recurrent. Each clinical chapter begins with the table on the differential diagnosis of diseases that manifest the corresponding variant of dizziness. Then a brief text is given, organized in the same sequence as the introductory table.
The publication is intended for neurologists, otorhinolaryngologists, therapists, interns and residents, and senior students of medical universities.
