The manual presents the main diseases of non -structural and infectious etiology, most common in the practice of veterinary medicine. The first chapter describes the development and formation of the functional systems and resistance of the body in antenatal and post-native development. Critical periods of the development of the body in ontogenesis have been identified. The second chapter sets out the classification, etiology and characteristics of non-controversial diseases of organs in various periods of growth and development of the body. Particular attention is paid to metabolic diseases and immunodeficiency. The third chapter is devoted to the characterization of the most widespread infectious diseases of young animals. The diseases are described and presented according to the well -known scheme taken in the study of the pathology of animals: determination of the disease, etiology, pathogenesis, symptoms, pathological changes, diagnosis. The main methods of treatment, measures for the prevention of diseases and improving dysfunctional points are given. Particular attention is paid to the infectious diseases of the young alimentary and respiratory nature.
