A problem -oriented approach is the latest method for consideration and resolving medical issues and problems. Hence the idea of creating a book based on algorithms regarding the main clinical and laboratory deviations in dogs and cats, using an innovative perspective. Each of the 85 algorithms step by step introduces the reader to the logical, practical and economically effective options for transition from the general problem, laboratory deviations or the results of visualization to a specific diagnosis or treatment. A brief resume is given on the first page of each topic, then an algorithm follows, and then brief explanations are given to many recommended steps within each algorithm.
This publication includes two useful and innovative functions: color codes and links to obtain additional information inside the algorithm. The yellow color indicates the diagnostic path, red - the diagnosis, and blue - on therapy, this allows the veterinarian to navigate in the diagnostic labyrinth to choose the most suitable therapy. Inside the red rectangles, you can quickly determine the list of differential diagnoses for each problem. Following yellow markers, everyone can understand how to achieve these diagnoses and optimize the diagnosis protocol. Notes associated with algorithms of references contain more detailed information about a specific diagnostic study, a specific disease or recommended therapy.
