The publication is dedicated to one of the most common groups of pathologies - skin tumors. The issues of their histogenesis, pathomorphology, differential diagnosis, immunohymic characteristics are considered. Detailed clinical, dermatoscopic and histopathological illustrations are presented. For each section, clinical, morphological and dermatoscopic comparisons have been carried out, which allows optimizing the comprehensive diagnosis and evaluation of the forecast of the main options for benign and malignant skin tumors. The presented material is based on modern actual sources, in particular, the official 4th issue of histological classification of skin tumors of the World Health Organization.
