Depressive disorders in general medical practice. Textbook

The training manual sets out a modern idea of ​​depressive disorders, their place in general somatic practice and the difficult socio-economic consequences of this disease. The prevalence, etiopathogenesis, clinical manifestations, current options, the severity of depressive disorders, their main diagnostic criteria according to the ICD-10 are described in detail. The features of the course of the disease in somatic pathology are reflected. Modern methods of treating different options for depression are described, a characteristic of basic psychopharmacological drugs and psychotherapy methods used in depressive disorders is given. The approaches to the prevention of depression are considered.
