The work highlights the issues of epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and surgical treatment of thyroid neoplasms, as well as the most common complications of surgical treatment. The epidemiological characteristic of benign and malignant thyroid tumors in the Udmurt Republic is given.
The clinical and functional features of the manifestations of specific postoperative complications of surgical treatment of thyroid tumors in different times are set out in detail. The algorithm of postoperative conducting patients with complications of surgical treatment of thyroid tumors is improved based on the use of a modern complex of diagnostic and therapeutic measures. The main predictors of lymphogenic metastasis in regional lymph nodes for thyroid cancer are identified.
