In the new work of Professor O.A. Gomazkova, a scientist-pathophysiologist and biochemist, summarized modern information about coronavirus (pathogenesis of Covid-19) Previous scientific experience O.A. Gomazkov, the author of work on the functional biochemistry and pathophysiology of peptides, made it possible to distinguish new targets of damage to blood and blood vessels. As a result of the direct aggressive effects of coronavirus, damage to the endothelium of blood vessels of the lungs and other organs is considered. The role of ASE2 - the main "receptor" of the viral invasion, is reviewed here taking into account the classic triad of R. Virkhov - endothelial dysfunction, pathobiochemistry of thrombogenesis, organ failure. The grounds for the new concept of Storm-2 are given, when the lesion is considered as a result of immunotrombosis and organs dysfunction. Particular attention is paid to the striking effect of the Covid-19 on the brain and heart.
