The personal experience of the authors is combined regarding the observation of pregnant women with congenital heart defects at the Moscow Regional Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the experience of Russian and foreign medicine. The authors deliberately lowered detailed issues of propaedeutics characterizing heart defects, the emphasis in the presentation of the material is made on specific recommendations to practicing doctors to conduct pregnancy and approaches to the delivery of observed patients. Particular attention is paid to pregnant women who have undergone corrogs for congenital heart disease, as well as the possibility of independent birth among them in the case of a good result of surgical treatment. Recommendations are given on the management of patients with heart defects, infrequently encountered in clinical practice. Everything stated in the book aims to reduce the frequency of operational delivery of pregnant women with heart defects.
For obstetrician-gynecologists, for which in practical activity, not so much the subtlety of hemodynamic disorders in heart defects are important, but to solve the issue of the possibility of prolonging pregnancy, the method of delivery and the risk of the development of cardiological complications. The monograph will be useful to therapists, cardiologists and anesthesiologists working in obstetric hospitals
