Atlas is devoted to the use of x -ray computed tomography in the diagnosis of various infectious lung diseases. Currently, the leading role of this method of radiation diagnostics is generally recognized not only with the initial examination of patients with suspicion of these diseases, but also in the process of treatment and dynamic observation as a control method. Images and comments on them are presented, which can be used by radiologists when writing conclusions.
In a separate chapter, specific clinical examples of computed tomography in the diagnosis of pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus infection Covid-19 are considered. The leading role of this research method in determining the degree of changes and the probability of the presence of this type of viral pneumonia is emphasized. The capabilities of computed tomography in dynamic observation with a favorable or unfavorable course of the pathological process, as well as in the identification of various complications, are illustrated.
The book is intended for radiation diagnostics specialists, to a greater extent to doctors-tonsonologists of computed tomography departments.
