The monograph presents mental processes and their pathology in patients with cognitive impairment of various genesis (priority in the most common - vascular etiology) It is given: the assessment of the cognitive sphere, the prognosis of the reversibility of cognitive disorders, their prevention and rehabilitation. Two diagnostic methods are proposed to evaluate a specific cognitive impairment (aphasia syndrome) and nonspecific cognitive impairment (the severity and the mechanism of cognitive dysfunction) The author presents a program of neurorebilitation. which was introduced into the clinic. The study allows you to revise the approach to non -drug treatment of patients with cognitive disorders (taking into account the psychological structure of cognitive dysfunction in neurological patients), and also clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed rehabilitation methodology
