The textbook was prepared by a group of the most experienced teachers of the department of clinical pharmacology and propaedeutics of internal diseases of the Institute of Clinical Medicine named after N.V. Sklifosovsky, Clinical Institute of Children"s Health. N.F. Filatov First MGMU to them. THEM. Sechenov (Sechenov University) with the participation of leading specialists of federal state scientific centers, medical institutions and universities.
In the textbook, taking into account the characteristics of children"s age, general issues of clinical pharmacology, clinical pharmacology of individual groups of drugs and the basics of pharmacotherapy are presented. The data of modern scientific literature are generalized, the material of scientific research of the author’s collective was used. The section devoted to the issues of pharmacotherapy of diseases provides relevant clinical recommendations of professional communities, according to which in a number of situations it is possible to use drugs not intended for taking children.
