The textbook was prepared in accordance with the state educational standard of secondary vocational education in the specialty "Laboratory Diagnostics". The main goal of this textbook is to give the future laboratory specialist a systemic idea of modern clinical laboratory diagnostics, its methods, technologies and their connections with clinical practice. In an accessible form, the basics of general pathology, the possibilities of analytical laboratory technologies, modern laboratory methods for diagnosing diseases are highlighted. The device and principles of operation of various types of automatic analyzers are described in sufficient detail.
