The training manual presents the main organizational aspects of the execution of laboratory tests for examining the patient. Considerable attention is paid to the characteristics of the preparation of patients for various types of research. The methods and methods of taking and collecting biological material are described in detail. The second edition of the manual presents the theoretical and practical aspects of compiling an application for laboratory studies, which should lead the doctor to detect the disease and formulate a clinical diagnosis. From the perspective of evidence -based medicine, the main approaches to evaluating the results of laboratory tests that the doctor should be guided in in his practice, taking into account the critical values of the studied indicators requiring immediate actions in the provision of medical care, are set out.
