This book - the AJCC malignant guide guide - is a universal basis for determining the prognosis and planning of the treatment of cancer. About 420 experts of various oncological specialties from 22 countries of the world took part in the work on the creation of the next, 8th edition of TNM classification.
This publication of the leadership is an important step towards a personalized approach regarding the stage of cancer patients, which is designed to ensure effective decision -making at the patient’s bed due to a number of significant changes. Each head of the leadership now includes a detailed list of prognostic factors, divided into groups necessary to determine the stage recommended for use in clinical practice and promising. Criteria for evaluating statistical models and predictive scales are proposed.
