Since the origin of the methodology of coronary angioplasty, the problem of percutaneous, endovascular treatment of chronic occlusions is always in the center of attention of intervention cardiologists. Despite the significant technological progress and the accumulation of experience by specialists - intervention cardiologists, many questions are still unresolved.
The monograph is based on the great personal experience of authors on the use of endovascular recanalization of chronic crown arteries, supported by the latest data from world medical literature, taking into account the results of multicenter, randomized studies conducted over the past years in the leading world clinical centers on interventional cardiology. It examines the methodology and technique of recanalization and stenting with various types of chronic occlusion of the coronary arteries, problems of patient selection and instrumentation for intervention, indications and contraindications. In addition, various operational techniques of endovascular recanalization of occlusion are described in detail, the necessary parameters of angiographic and other equipment, as well as catheter tools for the successful introduction of the program for recaning chronic coronary arteries in daily clinical practice are given.
The work presents the original materials of the authors for the use of new tools and the techniques for endovascular recanalization of the oral arteries. The analysis of the immediate and distant treatment results is given.
