The textbook reflects the contents of the curriculum in the discipline "Children"s maxillofacial surgery". The collection meets the requirements of the current Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education in the field of training (specialty) 31.05.03 "Dentistry".
The collection presents 111 visualized clinical tasks with the standards of the correct answers for various nosological forms of inflammatory diseases, injuries, diseases of the salivary glands, temporal-nominal joint, soft tissue and bone neoplasms, and a congenital pathology of the maxillofacial region in children. Situational tasks are well illustrated, the work used its own clinical material of the department of children"s maxillofacial surgery of FSBEI in the Moscow State Medical and Dental University named after A.I. Evdokimov "Ministry of Health of Russia. In the standards of answers, modern ideas about etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis algorithms and treatment standards for the main dental surgical diseases in children are well illuminated.
