The third edition of the textbook is written in accordance with the university program for the course Children"s Diseases. The material of the new publication is significantly updated and supplemented.
In the textbook from modern positions, all sections of pediatrics are considered: organization of assistance to children, neonatology, pathology in young and older children. Modern information on etiology and pathogenesis of the underlying diseases of childhood are generalized, their clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment are presented. Certain chapters are devoted to the most common hereditary diseases, childhood infections, diseases of the endocrine system, immunity, etc. Particular attention is paid to urgent conditions and help with them. The information set forth in the publication is fully consistent with the official clinical recommendations for the management of children with various diseases in the hospital and on an outpatient basis.
The textbook is intended for students of pediatric faculties of medical universities, and will also be useful for the practical training of clinical residents and young specialists in the specialty of Pediatrics
