This textbook is unique. To date, in Russia there were only monotematic textbooks - psychiatry, with a minimal description of psychotherapy and medical psychology. The construction of this textbook is carried out on the principle of integration. The specifics of neuropsychiatric disorders in children, "abnormal behavior" can often be mistakenly regarded by specialists as a pathology, but in fact-this can be a feature of normal functioning at different stages of ontogenesis. Therefore, the helping specialist-a children"s psychiatrist, a psychotherapist and a medical psychologist needs to study the psyche of children in normal and pathology on integrative medical and psychological guidelines.
