The book is devoted to the rehabilitation of patients with cardiovascular diseases. It covers the entire range of rehabilitation methods, starting with the stay of patients in the acute period of the disease in cardiological clinics (first stage) with a gradual transition to the second stage (early rehabilitation in a specialized hospital) and subsequent long -term stay under the observation of rehabilitation specialists of the clinic. Methods of early activation of patients at the first stage with a quick expansion of the motor activity regime are presented. At the second and especially at the third stages of rehabilitation, numerous rehabilitation methods (physiotherapy exercises, dosed walking, various types of physical training, psychological rehabilitation, training in smoking, teaching a rational diet, modification of risk factors) are used. The combination of compulsory medical treatment with many rehabilitation techniques gives the highest possible therapeutic effect. In patients, mortality is significantly reduced, the quality of life improves, and working capacity increases. Patients after cardiac surgery and invasive treatment methods are especially good.
