The leadership presents modern classifications of cardiomyopathy and myocarditis. In accordance with the new definition and classification of these diseases, developed by the experts of the American heart association, detailed information about etiology, pathogenesis, clinical and forensic meaning and modern methods of treating myocardial damage of various origin.
Particular attention is paid to new forms associated with genetically determined disorders of electrical activity of the heart, as well as the difficulties of differential diagnosis of acquired cardiomyopathies and diseases of mixed origin.
