The manual is devoted to the problem of adaptation of the cardiovascular system in athletes to physical exertion, theoretical and practical issues of medical and biological testing in sports and mass physical culture are considered, issues related to the complex of structural and functional features of the cardiovascular system that ensure high productivity in muscle work. Data on the significance of hemodynamic support for assessing the training and performance of the athlete is given.
