The textbook is compiled in accordance with the work program of the discipline "Fundamentals of the Latin language with medical terminology". It describes the principles of the formation of a pharmaceutical nomenclature in Latin, methods for transmitting it into Russian, presented the main frequency segments in the names of drugs, the rules for the formation and translation of specialized terminology.
