The training manual "Fundamentals of Pharmacogenosia" describes the rules for the harvesting, primary processing, drying and storage of medicinal vegetable raw materials. High -quality, quantitative analysis of biologically active substances of plant origin in accordance with state pharmacopeia is characterized. The characteristics of the main medicinal plants used in veterinary practice are given in the content of biologically active substances in them. Test assignments are proposed for independent preparation for classes on veterinary pharmacognosy, which contributes to the formation of competencies on the technology of harvesting of medicinal plant raw materials, determining its authenticity and quality.
