The back pain is the most common condition of the musculoskeletal system, which patients complain to doctors in the primary and emergency medical department. At the same time, only a few doctors of primary assistance received education and preparation on the appropriate examination of the child with back pain. This leadership is designed to make up for spaces in the knowledge of doctors and ultimately improve treatment and subsequent care of patients.
The publication consists of two main sections. The first section contains seven introductory chapters on epidemiology, anatomy of the spine, visualizing research, clinical aspects, general issues of anamnesis and physical examination of the child with back pain. The second section presents an overview of the common problems associated with back pain, and instructions are given how best to examine the pediatric patient. The classic results of the anamnesis and examinations have been identified, which can lead to a purposeful differential diagnosis, successful treatment and the patient’s direction towards related specialists.
