The atlas is compiled in accordance with the program of the course of histology, cytology and embryology for medical universities by teachers of the Department of histology, cytology and embryology of the First MGMU named after THEM. Sechenov (Sechenov University) The first and second editions of the Atlas gained wide fame among teachers and students.
An important feature of the atlas is consistent and detailed signatures under the images, creating a sufficiently integral primary idea of these images and about the topic under study as a whole. At the same time, together with the textbook S.L. Kuznetsova and N.N. Flies-Barova Atlas forms a unique training complex. The complex, which, relying on almost the same illustrations, offers the student a material set forth at several levels of complexity and informativeness.
The third edition of the Atlas is supplemented with new illustrations and tables, and the text is thoroughly processed.
