Atlas is an illustrated textbook for students of pharmaceutical schools and colleges. It is an addition to the textbook "Medicine" (Alyautdin R.N. et al., 2017) and can be used in practical classes and independent work on pharmacognosy.
The publication consists of two parts. The first, common part gives basic concepts of pharmacognosy, brief information about groups of biologically active substances contained in medicinal vegetable raw materials, workpiece, drying, storage and ways of using raw materials. The second part includes information about medicinal plants and raw materials (a description of the external signs of a medicinal plant, range, workpiece, drying, chemical composition, characteristic of medicinal plant raw materials, use) located in alphabetical order. Text material is accompanied by drawings of medicinal plants and photographs of medicinal plant material. At the end of the atlas, signs of medicinal plants in Russian and Latin are shown, as well as the names of plants included in the allowance, in English and French.
The training manual was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of the SPO in the specialty 33.02.01 "Pharmacy" and is intended for students of pharmaceutical schools and colleges. The material included in it can be of interest to students of pharmaceutical and medical faculties of universities, doctors, employees of the control and analytical service, procurers of raw materials, as well as for a wide range of nature lovers interested in medicinal plants
