"Atlas of dermatoscopy", published edited by A.A. Marguba, H. Malvea and R.P. Brown, became the result of the collective work of a number of leading experts in the field of international dermatoscopy, withstood the reprint and was translated into Russian for the first time.
Atlas is clearly structured - begins with the fundamental sections explaining the physical principles of dermatoscopy, the features of the equipment and the correlation of dermatoscopic features and pathohystological characteristics and introduces the reader with the basic principles of differential diagnosis of malignant and benign neoplasms in accordance with the two -stage algorithm. Further, the most common non -neminocytic neoplasms, various types of melanocytic nevus, melanomas and methods of their differentiation are examined in detail. Separately, it should be noted very interesting sections devoted to the characteristics of the dermatoscopic structure of neoplasms in different anatomical zones, equivocal (double -digit) neoplasms of the skin, exceptions to the two -stage diagnostic algorithm, the use of dermatoscopy in general dermatology and observation of neoplasms in dynamics.
The book will help in mastering this non -invasive diagnostic method for novice specialists and experienced doctors, and, most importantly, will improve the quality of medical care to patients.
