It was assumed that this surgical atlas would be the most complete periodontological surgical atlas, and in 1988 it was such. Since then, many important changes have occurred. In periodontology, a tendency towards the development of reconstructive methods arose quite definitely. Directed tissue regeneration, biomechanical processing of roots, effective methods of building bones and cosmetic closing of the root have become a reality of reconstructive periodontology.
In this publication, these changes were displayed in the new chapters: "Biomechanical Root Processing", "Directed Class Rohendation", "Cosmetic Closing of the Root: Desna Outbreaking", "Providing a High Cosmetic Result when Removing Pockets in the Fronts of the Upper Jaw" , "Increase in the size of the crest" and in addition to the chapter "inductive bone surgery". In addition, the chapter was added "suture materials and methods of imposing seams". The data presented in all other chapters were updated and supplemented in accordance with the requirements of time in order to create an even more complete periodontological surgical atlas
