The first volume of Atlas begins with a section of general anatomy. Basic information on the anatomy of the chest, limbs, abdomen and pelvis is presented. The next section of this volume is dedicated to the anatomy of the head. The issues of embryology, the structure of the skull, the vessels of the head and neck, and neuroanatomy are presented in detail. The application gives the anatomical foundations of local anesthesia in dentistry. The first volume contains about 600 visual drawings made in an extremely realistic manner. The inscriptions in the drawings are represented by Latin terms with a translation into Russian in sympathy signatures
