In the modern, richly illustrated and colorful publication, basic information is collected about the most common pathogens of human parasitic diseases. Information on the morphological features, life cycles, some aspects of epidemiology, medical significance, laboratory diagnostics and prevention of protozoosis, and helminthiasis was displayed briefly and concisely. The material on the arthropod - carriers of the pathogens of human diseases are also presented. The atlas is written in accessible forms for students, contains the schemes of life cycles of parasites, a huge number of photos (including those taken in the Museum of the Department of Biology and General Genetics of the First MGMU named after I.M. Sechenov) reflecting the structure of the presented parasites. The authors show illustrations of the most striking and characteristic clinical manifestations of parasitic diseases.
