Antibiotic therapy is an important component of a complex of therapeutic measures for diseases caused by binding anaerobic bacteria (birth Bacteroides, Prevotella, Porphyromonas, Clostridium and other) Its effectiveness significantly affects both the features of the pathogen of the pathology and the process itself. Among them: the originality of the sensitivity of anaerobes to antibiotics, increasing the secondary resistance of bacteria, the severity and rapid development of the pathological process with extensive tissue destruction, the mixed nature of microflora and much more. These issues are discussed in the book. Attention is drawn to the limited laboratory (microbiological) provision of antibiotic therapy of anaerobic infections.
