The most common acute vascular pathology is considered - acute thrombophlebitis. In their practical activities, doctors of various specialties have to face this disease. Despite the ease of recognition of thrombotic damage to the subcutaneous veins, so far his treatment is often accompanied by gross tactical errors. They are allowed not only by interners, but also by surgeons. Such errors are sometimes fraught with heavy complications, up to the death of patients from massive pulmonary thromboembolism.
