About the purpose of human body parts

The most outstanding representative of Roman medicine was Claudius Galen, a wonderful scientist of the II century AD. Galen is the author of numerous studies that served as the basis for the development of biomedical views of subsequent generations. All Continrators of Galen earnestly studied his creations, based their views on his research. So far, there has not been a single work of Galen in Russian. The main anatomical and physiological composition of Galen "On the appointment of parts of the human body" consists of 17 books. In this study, Galen gives a complete and systematic description of the human body.
