The book explores the history of the creation and practice of handing, secretly established in the USSR for presenting only anniversary medals to foreign citizens:
"in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin".
"XXX years of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945",
"40 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. "
On the basis of the documents identified by the author and first put into scientific circulation, accurate chronology, party and state acts of the institution of the USSR medals for foreign citizens are established, the practice of presenting them was described.
The study is illustrated by copies of the relevant party and state documents, as well as photographic materials about the practice of presentation.
During the study, some previously unknown information was established about the varieties of award documents for Soviet citizens, which is also submitted to the readers" court.
