The complex of equipment for steel production in converters has been considered. The main equipment of the converter shop has been reviewed: mixers, converters, continuous steel casting installations, as well as equipment for secondary steel processing: steel ladle refining unit, ladle-furnace unit, and vacuum degasser. Calculation methods for the equipment included in the modern converter shop complex are provided.
