Reprint from editions. Paris, 1924-1927. Pavel Pavlovich Muratov (1881-1950) was a Russian writer and art historian, translator and publisher, emigrant, organizer of the 'Bookstore of Writers'. Since 1905, he worked at the Rumyantsev Museum as a keeper of the department of fine arts and classical antiquities. In 1922, he left Russia. In 1923, having settled in Rome, he organized a salon in his house, which was visited by practically all Russian intellectuals who were in the Italian capital at that time. This collection includes the comedy 'Mauritania' and three stories published in Paris in the journal 'Contemporary Notes' in 1924, 1925, and 1927, and not reissued. The edition of 30 copies was made using print-on-demand technology.
