The manual is intended for students preparing for Olympiads or planning to achieve a high score on the Unified State Exam (Russian national exam) in mathematics, as well as for teachers involved in extracurricular (optional) mathematical education for schoolchildren. The book includes: - theoretical information and solved examples of problems on 'classic' topics of Olympiad mathematics: 'Parity', 'Colorings', 'Extreme Principle', 'Graph Theory', etc., - problems for independent solving on each topic, accompanied by answers and hints at the end of the book, - rules of mathematical battle - team competition of schoolchildren in solving mathematical problems. The topics presented in the manual are traditionally found in the tasks of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in mathematics and other types of Olympiads, successful performance in which can be equated to 100 points on the Unified State Exam.
